In a photography forum, Gary Gladstone, famous photographer & author of many books & magazine articles told of reading an article in a Frequent Flyer magazine that gave examples of some "unbelievably silly" questions ship passengers asked such as "Will I get wet if I go snorkeling?", "If the photos are not marked, how will we know which photos is ours?" and the classic "Is there water all around the island?"

This past summer I experienced my first cruise to the Bahamas with about forty high school classmates and obtained this Top-Ten list of passengers' questions from Royal Caribbean.

10. Does the crew sleep on board? (No, they swim ashore everynight)

9. Does the ship generate it's own electricity? (I think there is a very long orange extension cord to Miami)

8. Do these stairs go up or down?

7. Which elevator do I take to get to the front of the ship?

6. Do we have to leave the ship for our shore excursion?

5. Is there music in the disco?

4. What elevation are we? (Try sea level)

3. What do you do with the ice sculptures after they have melted?

2. Is the water in the toilet fresh water or salt water? (You taste it then tell me...)

And the number one question is...

1. What time is the midnight buffet?
